Excursion to Cholula

We spent the day on an excursion to Cholula, the neighboring town to Puebla. It rained for the first part of the morning while we toured historic churches, but thankfully the sky cleared up by midday.

Cholula: home to an Aztecan pyramid and over 100 churches (though, according to one legend, there are over 300).

My gastronomical adventure for the day was tasting crickets seasoned with salt and lime for the first time.

The PMSCP program in front of the pyramid.
